Love Waves in Layered Graded Composite Structures with Imperfectly Bonded Interface

TheoreticalanalysisandnumericalcalculationsofLovewavepropagationinlayeredgradedpositeswithimperfectlybondedinterfacearedescribedinthispaper.OnthebasisofWKBmethod,theapproximateanalyticsolutionsforLovewavesareobtained.Bytheinterfaceshearspringmodel,thedispersionrelationsforLovewavesinlayeredgradedpositestructureswithrigid,slip,andimperfectlybondedinterfacesaregiven,andtheeffectsoftheinterfaceconditionsonthephasevelocitiesofLovewavesinSiC/Allayeredgradedpositesarediscussed.Numericalanalysisshowsthatthephasevelocitydecreaseswhenthedefinedflexibilityparameterisgreater.Forthegeneralimperfectlybondedinterface,thephasevelocitychangesintherangeofthevelocitiesfortherigidandslipinterfaceconditions.
